Adele recently graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counselling and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC.  Having spent most of her life in Kamloops, she is grateful for the opportunity to accompany others on the journey to wellness and wholeness in her hometown.  It is her privilege to serve others as a therapist.  Adele works with her clients to create a safe and trusted place for them to process thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.  She respects and honours the innate dignity of the human person.

Adele's style is person-centered.  She has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential therapies, and Attachment based therapies.  She has additional training as a Compassion Fatigue Therapist and training about grief and loss.  Adele uses a holistic approach, integrating all domains of the human person - physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual.  She enjoys working with people of all ages - children, adolescents, and adults to process grief and loss, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and mood management. She is able to offer Christian-based counselling upon a client’s request.

Adele's interests include spending time making memorable connections with family and friends.  She enjoys creation and taking time to examine the beauty that surrounds her when she is out for a walk or hike in our beautiful city.

One of her favorite quotes: Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. -Mother Teresa
